1 Corinthians 13:4-7 describes the qualities of true love: "Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. 5 It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, and it keeps no record of wrongs. 6 Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. 7 It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres."  Proverbs 3:5-6 encourages, "Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight." In a loving relationship, it's important to seek God's guidance and honor Him.

Ephesians 5:21-33 emphasizes mutual respect and commitment in a relationship. Verse 25 instructs, "Husbands, love your wives, just as Christ loved the church and gave himself up for her." 1 Thessalonians 4:3-5 advises, "It is God's will that you should be sanctified: that you should avoid sexual immorality; that each of you should learn to control your own body in a way that is holy and honorable, not in passionate lust like the pagans, who do not know God."

Galatians 6:2 encourages, "Carry each other’s burdens, and in this way, you will fulfill the law of Christ." Supporting and caring for one another is essential in a loving relationship. Ephesians 4:15 emphasizes, "Instead, speaking the truth in love, we will grow to become in every respect the mature body of him who is the head, that is, Christ." Open and honest communication fosters understanding and intimacy.

Colossians 3:13 advises, "Bear with each other and forgive one another if any of you has a grievance against someone. Forgive as the Lord forgave you." Forgiveness and grace are crucial in maintaining a healthy relationship.

  • Ephesians 2:10. "For we are God's handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do."

  • Philippians 2:13. "For it is God who works in you to will and to act in order to fulfill his good purpose."

  • Psalm 138:8. "The Lord will fulfill his purpose for me; your steadfast love, O Lord, endures forever. Do not forsake the work of your hands."

  • Proverbs 16:9. "In their hearts humans plan their course, but the Lord establishes their steps."
