How To Have Revival
“The law of the LORD is perfect, reviving the soul; the testimony of the LORD is sure,
making wise the simple;”
Psalm 19:7

According to Matthew 6:33, in order to experience revival, we must first admit that we are dependent on God and seek our Heavenly Father with all of our hearts. Also, we need to turn away from everything that stands in the way of our connection with God and repent of the sins that we have committed. For as long as we continue to have faith in the power and promises of God, we will be able to feel His presence and receive His benefits in our lives.
Prayer is the foundation of revival. In 2 Chronicles 7:14, God says, "If my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and I will forgive their sin and will heal their land." To experience revival according to Malachi 3:10, we are required to bring our offerings and talents to the house of the Lord. By doing this, we can access and receive blessings that we cannot contain. Let us observe as God brings renewal to our hearts and communities by being loyal in our giving, and let us do it with humility.
Recognizing our transgressions and repenting from them is vital for renewal. Acts 3:19 says, "Repent, then, and turn to God, so that your sins may be wiped out, that times of refreshing may come from the Lord." A further vital component to achieve revival is to adhere to God's commandments. James 1:22 encourages believers to be "doers of the word, and not hearers only." Above all, pursue a life of righteousness. 1 Peter 1:16 says, "Be holy, because I am holy." Genuine worship can renew the spirit. Psalm 100:2 says, "Worship the Lord with gladness; come before him with joyful songs."
