Seeking God's grace and strength helps prevent bitterness from taking root. Psalm 51:10 is a prayer for inner renewal: "Create in me a pure heart, O God, and renew a steadfast spirit within me." Asking God to transform your heart can help you let go of bitterness.

Romans 8:28 reminds us, "And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose."
