Now this is eternal life: that they know you, the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom you have sent.”

Romans 3:23
A
According to Romans 3:23, "For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God," which means that no one is perfect, and we all make mistakes. However, the good news is that through faith in Jesus Christ, we can be forgiven and have eternal life in heaven.
Acts 16:31 They replied, “Believe in the Lord Jesus, and you will be saved—you and your household.” John 3:16, "For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life." These two verses indicate that we can attain eternal life and avoid destruction by placing our faith in Jesus Christ.
Romans 10:9 NIV “If you declare with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. Romans 10:10 NIV “For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you profess your faith and are saved.” These scriptures suggest that openly acknowledging Jesus as our Lord and Savior through our sincere beliefs and expressing our faith may lead to everlasting life.
1 John 1:9 NKJ “If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.” This indicates that when we admit our wrongdoings, there is a certainty that God will be faithful and fair in granting us forgiveness and purifying us from any wrongdoing.
Recognize that everyone has sinned and fallen short of God's standards. Romans 3:23 says, "For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God." Faith in Jesus is central to salvation. John 3:16 states, "For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life." Believing in Jesus' death and resurrection is essential. Repentance involves turning away from sin and seeking to live a life pleasing to God. Acts 3:19 encourages, "Repent, then, and turn to God, so that your sins may be wiped out."
Publicly acknowledging Jesus as Lord and Savior is important. Romans 10:9-10 says, "If you declare with your mouth, 'Jesus is Lord,' and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved." Salvation is a gift from God, not earned by good works. Ephesians 2:8-9 emphasizes, "For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God—not by works, so that no one can boast."
Baptism is a public declaration of faith in Jesus and symbolizes the believer's new life in Christ. Acts 2:38 instructs, "Repent and be baptized, every one of you, in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins." Following Jesus involves ongoing faith and obedience. Galatians 2:20 describes the Christian life: "I have been crucified with Christ and I no longer live, but Christ lives in me. The life I now live in the body, I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me."
