God has bestowed upon us a spiritual inheritance that is available to us through Jesus Christ in the promise of eternal life. Titus 3:7 states, "So that, justified by his grace, we might become heirs, having the hope of eternal life." Hebrews 1:2 "But in these last days he has spoken to us by his Son, whom he appointed heir of all things, and through whom also he made the universe."

   Obeying God's word is our greatest treasure, as it brings true happiness. We ought to invest in learning the word of God and doing righteous acts; these will be more precious than gold, as it will lead us to our salvation. 1 Peter 1:3-5 Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ! According to his extravagant mercy, he has caused us to be born again to a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead to an inheritance that is imperishable, undefiled, and unfading, kept in heaven for you, who by God's power are being guarded through faith for a salvation ready to be revealed in the last time.
