Overcoming Discouragement

​

Isaiah 41:10: "Fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God; I will strengthen you, I will help you, and I will uphold you with my righteous right hand." Matthew 28:20: "Teach them to obey everything I have said to you." And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age. God's promise to us is that He will never leave our side, no matter how challenging the circumstances may be or how disheartened we may get. Our Eternal Father is aware of all that we are going through and can observe our trials and pains. It is very encouraging to know that, via prayer, we may turn to God and know that He will support us with his loving peace, encouragement, and strength to continue on.​ In times of doubt and despair, we can find solace in the knowledge that God's presence is constant and unwavering. Through our faith and trust in Him, we can find the strength to persevere and overcome any obstacles that come our way.

Isaiah 65:24: “Even before we call on Him, the Father has already begun to provide all that we need.” Psalm 20:2: "The Lord answers you in times of distress; the name of the God of Jacob defends you!" God also wants us to realize that we have what it takes to triumph over every difficulty that may arise in our lives and emerge from each challenge with a fresh point of view. God hears our cries and feels the agony that we are going through. We must not lose hope since He is working to pave a new route in each of our lives. In fact, He is already aware of just what it is that we need even before we make our request. God's understanding and foresight are beyond our comprehension, and He knows exactly how to guide us through our struggles. It is important for us to trust in His plan and have faith that He will provide for us in ways we may not even anticipate. Therefore, we can find solace in knowing that God's timing is perfect and His provisions are always abundant.

Isaiah 55:9 "As the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways and my thoughts than your thoughts." Psalm 16:11: "You will show me how to live the rest of my life with abounding joy in your presence and delight in your right hand." Giving thanks to God for all the blessings he has bestowed upon us and having confidence in the promises he has made will invigorate our hope. Similarly, God is aware of the causes of the events in our lives and would never put us in a situation that we couldn't handle. In addition, God tells us not to worry about anything and instead to express gratitude, no matter what our circumstances are. By focusing on gratitude and trust in God's plan, we can cultivate a mindset of contentment and find joy even in the midst of challenges. Embracing a perspective of gratitude allows us to appreciate the small blessings and see the beauty in every moment, ultimately leading to a life filled with abounding joy and peace.
