Sacraments of Initiation
These three special gifts start us on our journey with Jesus and keep us growing strong in God's family.
Baptism: Welcome to the family
Baptism is like a big, warm hug from God! It washes away original sin and makes us part of God's wonderful family, the Church.
Confirmation: The gift of the Spirit
In Confirmation, the Holy Spirit gives us extra-special strength and courage to be brave friends of Jesus and share His love with everyone.
Eucharist: The Bread of Life
The Eucharist is a special meal where we receive Jesus Himself! It gives our souls the energy we need to live like Him every day.
Healing & Strength
Reconciliation
This is when we tell God we are sorry for our mistakes. It's like a big hug from God that washes our hearts clean and helps us start fresh!
Anointing of the Sick
When someone is very sick or elderly, the priest prays for them and puts a tiny bit of special oil on them. It gives them God's extra strength and peace.
Sacraments of Service: Ways We Serve God
Matrimony
Matrimony is a special promise between a man and a woman to love each other just like God loves us. They start a family and help each other get to Heaven!
Holy Orders
Holy Orders is when men become priests, deacons, or bishops. They promise to lead God’s family and help us hear His Word and receive His special gifts!
